The Rhône-Mediterranean-Corsica Water Agency is a public institution under the Ministry of the Environment, dedicated to water preservation. It collects water charges paid by all users. Every euro collected is reinvested in local authorities, economic stakeholders, and the agricultural sector to combat pollution and make better use of available water, through a multi-year intervention program.

In addition, the Water Agency facilitates dialogue with local stakeholders and produces and disseminates knowledge on water.
